Solo Rangers

Hello,

I have the guild wars guide from a while back and it says rangers are the best profession to do solo with, but to me it seems they are the worst. I dont know how to put together a solo build at all. It also say they are the best because of their pets. Can someone please help me with a good solo build because ive been playing for like 7 or 8 months and i still can't grasp the concept of a solo ranger.

Well first off, it's well known that the GR guide is a pile of rapidly decaying fecal matter.

Secondly, rather than make a new post, please use the Search Button to search for solo builds.

Lastly, well at least you got the right forum.

What do you mean by solo? No single character can go solo through the whole game. True solo, ie farming, builds are meant to solo certain specific areas and enemies, like a wa/mo taking on hydras, griffons, ettins, etc.

If you want to solo farm as a ranger, look around or search as there are builds for it here.

Oh that's not true... I bet with enough skill you could figure out a way to solo the entire game. It'd get hard towards the end but I doubt it's impossible.
