Kurow
JK theres already a build like this
onyo
doesnt quickshot have a 1 second recharge? so cant u shoot just as fast with any other skill (w/ 1 sec recharge) or default that with quickshot?
i see quickshot as a Default + Read the Wind, in an elite space taker-upper

quick shot shoots twice as fast, as in the attack is twice as fast.
onyo
oh alright.. MY BAD
LordMahal
quick shot is pointless.
Yolanda Kai
It has its uses in a few spike damage builds, but that's about it IMO. For general uses I prefer some of the more traditional combos.
SnipiousMax
I like it cause it land's at almost the same time as the shot before it. It's far from pointless.
Xiaxhou of Trinity
When it says the arrow flies twice as fast, that means more dmg FYI. So read the wind and quick shot is actually pretty good in a spike build. Read the wind is like a multi-power shot and quick shot is like a rapid fire power shot.
Metanoia
Quick Shot is seriously underrated.
There's no way to lower the cooldown, but the "cast time" is misleading. It's based off of the bow you're using and is effected by IAS boosts.
If you have a shortbow equipped you'll attack every 2 seconds. Because Quick Shot acts like an interupt skill (Ignoring the "aftercast" of the previous attack) you can alternate between normal attacks and Quick Shot for a nice DPS boost.
It works out like this: Normal -1sec- QS - 2sec - Normal - 1sec - QS
It works out as a 33% DPS increase.* Tiger's fury also increases the overall DPS by 50%** and works perfectly with QS because it helps reduce both the cast and aftercast times of both your normal attacks and Quick Shot.
*With QS: You're attacking 2 times every 3 seconds, 4 attacks in 6 seconds.
Without:You're attacking 1 time every 2 seconds, 3 attacks in 6 seconds.
**With TF: If you attack every 2(3 - 33%) seconds, in 60 seconds make 30 attacks.
Without: If you attack every 3 seconds, in 60 seconds you make 20 attacks.
With 13 Expertise, QS only costs 2 energy to use. So, a zealous bow covers the cost of QS leaving the 2 remaining pips to cover Tiger's Fury every 10 seconds easily.
If your DPS is a modest 30 with normal attacks. It's 45 with TF, 40 with QS and 60 with both. Not bad, eh? Sustainable, too.
Edit: ak347, that topic is what inspired me to cap it and play around with it. :P

i don't know why it took so long for people to figure this out
there was a whole thread devoted to bashing out qs and how it was the worst elite in the game
maybe if they actually tried it out instead of complaining
