Need travel information, please

I've been trying to get some travel information in this game but it seems no one wants to help with directions at least unless they're paid in-game. I'm neither paying for a runner nor am I paying for information. This is wrong to begin with, charging gold just to aid someone.
Hopefully I can get this info here.

I've opened a large portion of the map except Southern Shiverpeak or the Crystal Desert. I manage to get some info in another forum and it said you have to do a certain mission to get to South Shiverpeak. The thing is, I've done all the misions in all the ports I've been in and haven't gotten anything related to this.

I've been to the following places with my henchies alone.
Ascalon City, Ascalon Arena
Great Northern Wall, Frontier Gate, Fort Ranik, Sardelac San., Piken Sq., Grendach Courthouse, Nolani Acad, Borliss Pass, Yaks Bend, Front Gate, Ice Tooth Cave, Beacons Perch, Gates of Krpta, Lions Arch, D'alessio Seaboard, Bergen Hotsprings, Beetleturn, Temple of Ages, Divinity Coast, Fishermen Haven, Sanctum Cay, Riverside Province, Hedge of denravi, Maguum Stade, Druids Overlook, Aurora Glades, The Wilds, G Falls, Ventari Refuge.
I checked the maps on this website but Crystal Desert doesn't seem connected to any of the places above.

Southern Shivepeaks is connected to North Shiverpeaks but the mobs there are 22-24 and I've dies many times trying to get thru with the henchies which are only lev 10 in that area.

Can someone please tell me where I can get the mission to travel there, name and location of mission giver. Or what port should I be in and which way to go, south, north or wherever it need be.

Any help will be greatly appreaciated.

Mission in Kryta, Sanctum Cay -----> Crystal Desert (3 ascension missions + 1 Other mission)-------> Droknar's forge(Southern Shiverpeaks.

Or you can go the easy way and get to beacons perch and ask for a runner .

Make sure you have all your quests done. Ventari's Refuge quest "Blood and Smoke" I believe will direct you to Aurora Glade. Doing the Glade mission will drop you in Henge of Denravi. Denravi Quest will take you south towards Maguuma Stade and a person to talk to. He will take you "up river" to Riverside Province Mission.
Riverside Province will take you to Sanctum Cay (Fisherman's Haven is nearby to the north of Cay).

Cay mission will take you to Amnoon Oasis for the desert missions.

The Wiki website seems great. Unfortunately, it went down as I began to check it. Thats been the story with me trying to find how to get there.
Anyway, I'll try a bit later and hopefully its back up.
So it seems you can't go directly there unless you do certain missions. This information should of been made available up front to everyone instead of peope like me having to go through all this time wasting, frustrating events.

The information has been available for many, many months. Not trying to be mean, but some simple searching on Google for "Guild Wars Map" will yield several results. There are numerous guides out there (including the Prima Guide in stores).

Try Googling "Guild Wars Mission Walkthroughs" for maps of specific missions.

to sum it up, do the mission in riverside province (which you listed as having). this should take you to sanctum cay. do the mission there, and that will take you to the crystal desert.

that is where it gets tricky. you will need to explore a lot of the desert to get to the 3 missions there. completing a mission in the desert won't progress you to the next mission linearly like before. you will need to find the 3 missions and complete those before you can ascend.

And has been said, to get to the Crystal Desert you need to go to Sanctum Clay and complete that mission. when you finish that mission you'll end up in Amnoon Oasis in the Desert. From there you need to do the 3 "Ascension" mission's - Dunes of Despair, Elona's Reach & Thirsty river. Once you've done them go to augery rock and do the "Ascention" mission there.. this takes you to Dragon's Lair.. do that and you'll be taken to Droknar's forge in the Southern Shiverpeaks.

Not taking the Desert Missions into consideration... There is really no reason that this information needs to be "made available". If you aren't sure where to go next, always make sure you do all the quests in your log and missions on your map. The game is very good about progressing you through where you need to go by doing those two things.

The only time that I really found myself confused was in Beacon's Perch. After you talk to the guy outside the ice cave, that completes the quest. Then you have an empty log and no available missions. I was kind of stuck as to what to do for a while before I decided to explore up there and found the quest that took me to gates of Kryta.
