Some guy want to buy a sword with similar stat from the one I have but with 15% hp > 50. I sold him my sword as dmg 15% (hp > 50) for 35k. (he didn't noticed that difference until 5 min after I sold it to him ). I want to know how much profit did I actually made from that guy. From what I've heard ingame that sword only worth 5k at the most.

Well, many people did that too. From the begining when people find out icy dragon sword, they lie about the sword only can be find during wintersday just drive up the price. At that time people sell the ids for 60k-100k

I personally spend a great deal of my time giving away decent stuff to newer players just to make up for the actions of people like you so they won't get the idea that everyone in this game is a scammer...

come to think of it, though i dont like the sounds of it, its not 100% his fault, so just cant put the blame on him, not a scammer at least..........buyers have to be aware of what they're trading...not after the trade...><

Isn't that obvious that a weapon like ids will stay around, there is no way a fine weapon like that will only be around for just a couple of weeks in the winterdays.

thats only part of the case.....it was selling at that kind'a price cause its still at initial stage..just like what happened to victos axe..from 400k to 50k

not obvious at all i'd say if you played most of the MMORPG around...its kind'a hard to say if an item will stay or not especially when christmas is around the corner and special events are everywhere(unless its stated somewhere)..there's special items on a limited time periods in other games........^^

I can't believe this guy dare to even post a price check on item that he scam from his buyer. I know the guy that he scammed it from. According from what I heard. His buyer was posting something goes like this "WTB FDS max dmg (req.9 sword) dmg+15% hp>50%" and this guy messaged the buyer that he had the exact sword that the buyer need. When the buyer realized it was a dmg15% hp<50% instead of hp>50%, he quickly message this guy as quick as possible to exchange his money back but this guy ignore him. it was 100% of this guy fault. The buyer was reallly ticked and tried to report him to Anet but he lacked of screenshot of the transaction took place. I wish Anet will monitor people like this guy and shut their game account off.

I think I read somewhere about report scammer like this guy ingame and in order to do that you need to have actual prove by having a screenshot of transaction being done with important message about the sell.

About what you said the pricing on the Victo's axe and ids. you are correct about price going high when an item at initial stage. However IDS is just a blue weapon, in general blue stand for common, purple stand for uncommon, and gold stand rare. Since IDS only have it only blue weapon shouldn't the price should be lower even it is at initial stage?

Also about what you said not obvious that the IDS will stay around or not. I do not know much about other MMORPG, but as far as I know about GW, I highly doubt that GW will have weapon like for a few weeks and have people to sell it for 400-500k for blue weapon like this right now.

the IDS IS blue... but it has a GOLD stat on it... 15^50 is a very nice mod, the skin is quite nice too... I like it alot and so do tons of other people. It's all about supply and demand... as more and more of the items flood the market prices drop.. simple economics Plus there was alot of hype about if it would stop dropping or not.
