How do Warirors get their Max HP so INSANELY high?

Endure Pain: For 7...16 seconds, you have an additional 90...258 Health.

Defy Pain: For 12 seconds you have an additional 90...258 Health and an additional +20 Armor. This is an elite skill.

Superior Vigor: +50 to health

Shields can have +30 HP always mods or +45 while enchanted/stance etc. Also, pommels/grips of fortitude will add +30 HP max. Lets add them up, a level 20 warrior under an enchantment with a +45 HP enchant shield, a Sup. Vigor, a +30HP weapon and using Endure Pain will have:

480 + 30 + 45 + 50 + 250 (approx.) = 855 max. health.

Endure Pain, Defy Pain {E}, that's easy +500HP from them combined, W/Mo could add in Vital Blessing for ~150HP, +45HP shield, +HP weapons.

That's what I can think of

Well the warrior will be in a world of pain when Endure Pain and Defy Pain end, suddenly losing ~500HP. If the W is below 500HP at that point, he's as good as dead.

Very bad in extended battles.

Create a level 1...8 Spirit. For creatures within its range, for each enchantment on a creature, that creature's maximum health is increased by 27...125. This Spirit dies after 30...126 seconds.


Just lay on the enchantments and you're good to go!

Defy Pain is adrealine skill, 7 hits. 12 sec duration so it could be kept renewed.

Endure Pain has 30 second recharge and 7...16 second duration.

symbiosis is a spirit that I rarely ever see used. Put that on + Tank with a +45 shield, sup vigor, +30 weapon mod, vital blessing, defy and endure pain and youve got a ton of HP. Course it doesnt matter much once you shatter the enchantment, and kill the spirit. Then you just survive till defy/endure run out. I see monks doing this, then using infuse health for HUGE heals. There is a thread on this I think.

yeh, but I'd be a great combo for Solo Griffin/Troll/Ettin/giant/drake/Hydra Farming, wouldn't it?

If you can't solo those as a warrior with 500HP, then delete the character and uninstall the game.

I usually use just endure pain with Demonic flesh, combined with +30 hp weapon and shield and sup. vigor it totals to over 1000 with 2% or more morale bonus too.

I often use a combination of Endure Pain & Defy Pain to get a constant +250 HP in battle. Use Endure to start (since that requires energy, which you'll have before a battle), once you've build up enough adrenaline, hit Defy. Endure will wear off around now, build up adrenaline for Defy and hit it again. After the second Defy wears off, Endure will have recharged. Rinse and repeat.

In the 1st screen I have ~1400 health, but a glitch stopped it from displaying the fourth number. I made a second too, with one less enchantment (the equilelant of 130+ health), and my health isn't maxed.

All this is on a mesmer btw Symbiosis is the key if you want really high health. And an Elementalist (or another caster-class with plenty of self-enchants) can quite possibly ahieve a higher number than a warrior.

We (Mo/w and Mo/R) took a level 10 ele out into the desert to kill hydras. Between Maintained enchants from us, self enchants from him and a spirit of Symb we had that little guy up over 2k health.

Not overly practical in the way of farming, but as a proof of concept it was pretty fun.

Also warrior's secondary class may have hp increase stuff

IE:

Mesmer - illusion of weakness (not really an increase but it does give you more hit points to play with)
Monk - they have some stuff I dont recall lol
Necro - something flesh which increases your max hp.

Hello Sumi. And yeah, most ppl use it as an emergency skill, oh noes I have 100 hp, time to kick endure pain in. And in a short time boom, health gain gone you die. You throw it up first and enter battle so the first dmg u take doesn't count.

But yes symbiosis, attunment, endure and defy etc you can REALLY get some huge HP's. Oh and if you wanted to experiment, throw up fertile season.

What does one have to do to keep the monsters from attacking the Spirit? Just move away, and refrain from AoE spells that scatter them in its direction?

At 16 blood necro I can get 208 extra hps out of that flesh skill for over a minute. Combine that with Monk protection vital blessing and you're lookin at another 150pts. Too bad mark of protection is an elite heh if I could use that with OOB I'd be invicible (smile)

When Defy and/or Endure Pain end they leave you at 1 hp if you had less health then the amount they give you and your health cannot drop below for a few seconds. I use this alot when running.
