Correct me if I'm wrong but you can get the same base sword from the Weapons guy at Droks for 5k plus materials. Buy a Zealous hilt and you end up with the same sword... and I would imagine for a whole lot less than 40k.

Yes, but the Drok "Long" sword looks like a Gladius. i.e. it looks like a dagger.

You can match specs/stats on various items but looks are very important to many people. That's why some rare skinned max spec items sell for astronomical amounts.
