The skill is never used, but if they lowered the energy from 15 to 10 to use it and made it last longer, I think it'd be used. At current it shuts down use of all signets for only 21 seconds at level 16. So, without a superior rune it's around 15 seconds which is completely horrible with a 10 second recharge. Give this skill a boost to make it last to about 30 seconds and 10 energy with 5 second recharge and then we have a skill on our hands.

i've been thinking that it needs a buff, i always thought of carrying it to stop those bonders..or those warriors, but with the energy cost and the duration..it just wasn't worth it..agreed..lol

I mean it does have some usefulness against:
Healing Signet, Blessed Signet, Signet of Devotion, some of those Necro signets, and most importantly Resurrection Signet. Practically as effective as frozen soil in TA.

But Rust only slows it, Ignorance stops it dead...

Even Rust doesn't really do enough - it's a nice cover hex, but not much use otherwise. There are many spells/skills that need examining.

Ignorance does really need either a longer duration or a much lower energy cost.

I don't think it need a buff at all, all Anet need to do is make more signet skills that is good. If signet become more important in the field than right now through the introduction of many new signets, ignorance is going to be a deadly hex.

The trouble with signet shut down skills like rust and ignorance is that they are generally far to specialised to do much good aside from kocking off the odd skill or res sig(and surely cry of frustration woud do a better job here since you can use it for other things as well). Thus don't warrant being put on a skill bar.
