Griffons and Sephis Axes

In the four months I've been farming Griffons, not once have I seen a Sephis Axe drop from one. So today this guy in our Guild tells me he found a max damage, req. 9, 15%^50% 10/9 Sundering Sephis Axe, and that it dropped from a Griffon outside of Destiny's Gorge (I farmed them for a little while, never even got a white one). I asked him if any white ones dropped and he said a couple of max damage ones did, so I asked him to keep one for me if he finds another.

Hmm, how odd. It just made me suspicious when he said I couldn't see it because he sold it for 35k.

You aren't the only one. When I told him that it was probably worth a hell of a lot more, he didn't seem to care.

Ya there is alot of 6-17 dmg sephis axes at gates of kryta

That's why I'm suspicious. I've never ever seen a Sephis Axe drop from something that wasn't undead.

sephis axes drop from undead or from chests they also drop from chests at hells precipe cant think of other places right now

go out bergen to tempel on ur way kill everything u will c alot of white non max sephis axes but maybe there will drop a gold max one ^^ found a few there. Do the hordes Quest in beetletun

edit: i have been playing my war for nearly 1000h and i did a lot of farming in those hours and espesially griffons and not even once a griffon dropped a sephis i doubt that they will drop one. I will only believe it when i c it myself otherwise a nono and that is definite

Axes, but never a Sephis and I have farmed them ALOT. I recall findinga really really really bad sephis axe doing gates of kryta mission, it was 4-18 and req. 13, white. damn....crappy stats for an awesome skin.

In my experience,thousands of griffins murdered,all over the desert.NEVER have they dropped a shepis axe for any of my characters.Thats like saying Charr drop Fellblades

Its bullshit, griffons dont drop em, sounds like a attention seeking kiddie to me.

It can happen, i had a gold sephis axe drop from the griffons outside augery. Only one ive ever seen them drop tho.

lol yeah and i had a crystalline max drop outside ascalon from a lvl 3 gargoyle unfortunately i dont have a screenshot
