can u get this from any boss's? just that i dont have any skill points left but i got a Capture.

would anyone happen to know if Conjure Lightning has the 25% armour penetration that many other Lightning spells feature?
Also, apart from element-specific resistance is there any other notable practical difference between using the different Conjure spells? (fire, frost & lightning)

No, armor penetration is only there the spells, barring Lightning Surge and Whirlwind. The conjures do nothing more than add extra damage to elemental weapons.

Also, apart from element-specific resistance is there any other notable practical difference between using the different Conjure spells? (fire, frost & lightning) NO armor penetration unless stated. The difference in the conjures is the type of string you have, and which you like best. Since in pvp not many people bring cold resistant armor, conjure frost + icy bowstring is best. Otherwise in pvp, the type of monsters will effect your decision. (Though, conjure flame + kindle arrows works too, taht means you can add a vampiric string + conjure + kindle for tons of damage)

If you read conjure it says...if your wielding a lighting wepon, so if your wepon had two elements it would work, but im pretty sure they cant.

Any of the Conjure Element spells remove all your current enchantments, so you couldn't have more than one on at a time anyway.

What they would do is use skills like Strenth of Honour and Order of Pain/Vampire and Over skill that allys can use on other allys to increase damage plus for a one time effect u can use Duel Shot to Double the damge of the conjure, kindle and all the other things u got to other then the regular damage. Guys U know of any other increase ally damage other then the ones I said?
Strength of Honour only works in melee, and the Orders only work on Physical attacks. Kindle turns your weapon into fire.
You either have to go all-out physical buffs, or not. Judge's Insight would disable the Conjure and Orders as well.
Edit: As in most of the buffs that will affect physical damage ONLY affect physical damage.

Order of Pain - Enchantment Spell
Sacrifice 17% of maximum health. For 5 seconds, whenever a party member hits a foe, that party member does an additional 3-13 damage.

If it says *hit* then it's whenever they do an attack. It can't be a spell, but it can come from a Spellcaster, warrior or monk weapons. It can't be spells.

How about it says it here:
I wouldn't intentionally mislead someone about a skill description, and in this instance, the skill has changed.
At one point in time during the BWE's, I'm fairly sure I remember being able to trigger Order of Pain/Vampire on staff/wand hits. However, that definitely isn't true anymore now.

I dunno, physical damage sounds more like "not magical" than just melee. So maybe rods/staves wouldnt work since they are elemental, but bows arent inherently elemental.

The problem in what he wants is Kindle Arrows.
With Kindle Arrows, you don't need a fiery bowstring to use Conjure Flame, because Kindle Arrows turns your damage to fire. That Flame Slinger build doesn't need Greater Conflagration either.
If you're using Kindle Arrows, then you're using fire damage, and not physical. Ergo, it doesn't work with Order of Pain.
The same holds true for Judge's Insight enchantment.

Well, you're right about Judge's Insight, but I didn't think so about Kindle. You really should read up on your skills. Kindle arrows: For 24 seconds, your arrows deal an additional 3-20 Fire damage. Note the "additional." I've fought enough rangers to remember it shows normal damage and Kindle damage differently. Therefore if you're not using a fiery bowstring, you're doing physical damage. :-) I just assumed everyone knew what Kindle Arrows did.

Kindle arrows is not supposed to turn your damage into fire damage (read the description carefully). It's supposed to ADD fire damage to your arrows normal damage. This is causing problems with my r/e build and the triggering of glimmering mark and I reported it as a bug. If this bug is also afftecing your builds I would submit it using /bug. The more anet hears about it the more likely it is to get fixed.

And I assumed everyone knew Kindle Arrows didn't work exactly as described. Guess I was wrong.
Why don't you actually try the combo instead of working off of the description?
Guild Wars is great, but it's not perfect.
Look at Virulence-
Are you going to tell me it doesn't induce poison just because the description doesn't say so?
You'll have a tough time 'proving' that to fragility mesmers in the arena and their victims, who've witnessed it first-hand.
And would you like to tell me Crystal Wave ignores Protective Spirit too?
The point is-
Don't tell someone they're wrong unless you've actually tested and verified it. Kindle Arrows produces an unusual effect unlisted in its description. Most flame slingers should be able to tell you that they don't need a fiery bowstring OR Greater Conflagration in order to use Conjure Flame. They just toss up Kindle Arrows, Conjure, and they're good to go, perfect for using the Zealous Bowstring for additional energy management.

Wow man, WHY would Crystal Wave ignore Prot Spirit? If you think it SHOULD ignore prot spirit, you're not reading the description because that DOES work as it should. It only ignores armor and magic resistances, like armor against earth or elemental attacks. Nowhere does it say it ignores other forms of protective spells. Where did that even come from? What's your point? Fine, ill go out and make some tests with Charr and Armor of Frost. We'll see what happens.
