Where does Silk come from?

Is there a complete listing crafting components where they come from and also what they are used for?

One of the sources is white mantle clothing-type salvageable items, like the stuff the abbots drop. They give anything from silk, linen, leather, hide or cloth when you salvage.

You can get silk from these items with an expert kit,Ash Fiend Trappings, Decayed Orr Robes, Dwarven Robes, and Flame Wielder Trappings. Or you can have it crafted by a crafter if I remember right.
