Emulate someone in this game?

Have you ever made a character in Guild Wars with the intention to base it off a certain character you've seen or know about?

IE, I plan on making a guy called Gatz, from "Sword of the Beserk" series.
He's an uber tough human with a massive sword. Seeing as there are no 2 handers in this game, I’ll make him wield a massive 2 handed hammer.
Warrior / Monk would probably be his bag, but I’ll probably go full warrior skills, as that’s all I saw him do.

Another character I’d like to emulate is Tessai from a movie called "Ninja Scroll" (Yes, another anime). He's a big freak whose skin turns to rock and he just pummels people to death. Hrmm, probably a big, bald warrior with a greyish skin tone and again, a big weapon, or a good 1 hander and shield, with emphasis on absorption abilities to be able to take all the damage.

Not sure on a 2nd prof with this guy, but necro would suit, as he's an evil bastard

Another character I could do is He-Man. Warrior speced first and go ranger second, with only points in beast master (ranger wise) and the rest warrior skills.

He-Man, not your bag? try then Legolas, nothing but bow skills with 2ndary in whatever you think compliments his character type.

So all I’m saying is, instead of building a character based on what you think would work, make one on what you think would be "Cool". It may last you longer, and hey, it could also prove effective in combat, after all, you put your heart into something, you get more out. And in the end of the day, its about fun as well as PVP and competition.

Enjoy, I’m off to make a character based on a guy from a series called "Bastard" - basically a really tough mage who commanded the power of fire and lighting. I'll probably make him an E/N muahahahaha.

List any you've based characters on, and what combo of professions and attributes you used.

While I’ve used warrior a lot in the above examples, I think you could do well to try and emulate a character you think would be "Cool" in Guild Wars.

What profession would be best for Megaman? I would say male warrior for blue dyed Knight's Armor (kinda looks like helmet) and elementalist secondary for flare (Megaman's cannon)

What would be good for Spider-Man? :/

Spiderman is starting to get hard hehehe. I guess make him a mesmer and then dye his armor red and blue? :P

It's an asian samuari from a game i played (pen and paper version) SAMURAI clan who wore bulky armor and swong massive clubs or hammers (swords were for pansies , like the crane clan hehehe - or the honor driven lions clan)

i named my char Zoddo the Immortal. but theres no giant minotaur/bat-winged chars to choose from in this game

bwahahahaha.

I wonder if they could impliment a new body for that.
