Pet Release Question

Is there any command to release your pet (as a ranger) to get a new one? If not, is there some place I can go to release it? I did the quest for the ranger in front of Ascalon, but that didn't release the pet for me.


Sorry if this has been asked before. The word "pet" is too common to be included in the search parameters, the website tells me.

There are a few "tamers" around the world
Talk to them and you should find your answer
One is located right outside Ascalon
