sometimes you can get those items just by clicking on them, you'll go to the door and magically pick it up. but othertimes, nothing happens.

I did consume corpse in the riverside province mission near the start, had to get my party to aggro some enemies over so I could teleport down xD

Sad part is that those seeker guys always drop Gold Armor and nobody can pick it up.
I did this mission with my mesmer and 2 of my team members got Gold Armors in the tower and couldn't pick them up. I'm glad is wasn't me who got it, I probably wouln't have moved until I picked it up :P

did the OP even bother clicking the armor and seeing if he could pick it up, i have yet to be able to get my loot from ontop the towers. i guess its the same exploit that people use on bridges

I've always been able to get my stuff from on top of the towers...did you try clicking on it at all...or standing at the door...

After you do consume corpse, stay there until your hair grow really long, then you climb down your hair.
