Is there any way to just kill my friends? Can we enter an arena 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2? Is there a /duel command Im unaware of?
Thanks.
Killing friends makes me smile

There is not, and for reasons that should be obvious.
You can have dueling, or exp for pvp, but not both.

It would be nice to have a practice arena, without experience involved. I'd like to take two four man teams from the guild and split them up to practice stuff.

False. DAoC had XP for PvP and also had duels with no reward other than bragging rights for the winner and rez sickness for the loser. Granted GW isn't divided into 3 realms, but they could still work something out for 1v1 duels.

To the original poster, please use the search feature. This is probably the 100th post on this topic.

But you're absolutely right about team balance. They should not attempt to balance chars for 1v1 in any way. But that doesn't mean they couldn't still allow duels. If they did, it should be for nothing more than fun. No reward of any kind. Let the maggots whine about their healer not being able to beat a tank/caster because "classes are unbalanced".
I'd be willing to ignore their stupidity for the ability to put my elem against my friend's for some good old fashioned friendly warfar.
