No...see it used to be you just couldn't finish it whether he made it there or not...

They didn't do anything to fix his pathing apparently and he'll still get stuck occasionally...

Sometimes he's near the bonus... But its only sometimes.. Don't get your hopes up if that happens, he probably won't be there and you'd waste a lot of time. Lazy Anet not fixing age-old-glitches.

To add, if you're completely infused the henchmen won't get infused like it's supposed to now. Made getting the bonus a little tougher.
