Yesterday, I finally saved up to 1 million gold in my storage. Now, what shall I do? If I spent the Fissue Armor on my Necro, it would cost around 700K, is it worth it? Anyone want to join me in celebration?

I'd buy all the weapons, Runes, etc., I wanted before spending any money on cosmetic armor.

In my opinion, no Necro FoW is definitely not worth it. FoW is always fun to have, but lots of people have it already so its not really that fun anymore, especially with the new chapter coming out soon.

Go with 15k armor (all sets for each character) and make it all black

With all the money I've spent ove rthe past 8 months, I've made well over a million - but I spent it. 15K Armors, Dyes (for six characters), etc. Everything else I've farmed myself (greens, IDS, runes, etc).
If you've not felt the need to spend your money by now - then save it for chapter 2 (if you're buying it) and see what new goodies you can buy then.

Congratulations on reaching the million. I have to echo the sentiments of others here... wait to see what Factions has to offer. With six new armours per class, you'll be spoilt for choice (hopefully).

I would stock up on crafting materials like iron, steel, glittering dust, wood, etc. It's highly likely that they will be used in Factions, so you might as well stock up. However don't get stuff like Deldrimor steel, as that's unlikely to be used in factions armour.
It would also be worthwhile to buy a few superior vigor runes while prices are low from players (I haven't seen them below 30k ever).
And obviously you can buy some green weapons if you fancy them (Sorrow's Furance or Tombs).
Don't bother with FoW armour - it's just a money sink.

Fissure armor is not worth it.. That'd be 70% of your work down the drain.
I suggest:
-Getting perfect mods which compliment your characters or a green item if it already has what you're looking for..
-Stock up on a few Superior Vigor (If you have a warrior Superior Absorbtion)
Then...
-15k is more worth it then Fow (In my opinion)
-Black Dye
And always be stingy with cash, even though you're stinkin' rich, you won't last long if you don't haggle.

I'm wondering how many characters you have. I would have a lot more money saved up, but it has been spread across 6 characters, so I rarely break 100k in the bank.
Anyways, if you get bored, you can always meet some noobie in ascalon, have them run to the shiverpeaks, then sit back and pay them to continually run into large groups of enemies while your servants rez him and you sip on some dwarven ale. Oh yea, get a female ele or ranger to dance for you at the same time if you REALLY wanna be classy

Congrats on reaching 1 milion /applause. As for what to do with it, save it for chapter 2 or buy some dream weapons for your characters. That's what I did when I reached the 1 million mark. Fissure of Woe armor isn't worth buying honestly. It's a huge money sink and I have a feeling the chapter 2 armors will be far more appealing

I'm holding onto all my money right now. I have 2 accts w/ all 6 professions. My Necro has FOW and my others have 15K armor (all black). I got all the greens, runes, good amount of ccs, tons of materials (some more than others 2,500 wood, 1,500 dust) etc. And get this.... I have 2.2 million spread across both accts. I'm not even buying FoW armor for my other chars (even tho there is nothing more for me to buy). I'm just gonna help out other guildies & wait to see what happens in Factions.
I would strongly suggest you wait to see what happens with Factions, but if you want to spend money on something just make sure it's not FoW armor. IMO the Necro has the best FoW armor out of all the chars (unique) , but it's not worth you squandering all your money when we are this close to Factions.. A few months ago I would have said different. That's just me tho...

I would save it for Ch2 now. Wait and see what that brings and if you still like Fow etc afterwards then you can buy it. What I would do is save the money, use it to trade in Ch2 to increase it more.
I strongly suspect the cash limits will be raised in ch2 so as to make money storage less of an issue. Well put it like this I hope so..

Not trying to be offensive but that was completely a show off post...Maybe it's ok for people to discuss how many millions they've got amongst people with millions also, but amongst a large community where the vast majority actually don't have an ounce (well, maybe two) of that to me is really unacceptable. Not that this is aimed directly at you, because I can understand most people who have so much at least want to tell a few others about it, and there are regularly posts like that here. However, these are never posts that I enjoy reading. Maybe I would think differently if I had more money myself, but meh. Not intending to start an argument here, though I'm thinking I probably will get quoted.
To OP: Well, grats, I guess. Save it for Factions like other people said, get all the new stuff.

When I have too much money ie...1000k I start to buy ecto as cheap as possible. I know some people prefer to buy gems, but I have to disagree with the future value of these gems. Just like certain crafting materials have been the foundation for certain armor. I think ecto will always be the foundation for the higher end armor.
They would really have to increase the drop rate of gems(if you are going to need them for future armor), which compared to ecto is far less than desirable, and if they did increase the drop rate of gems..the value would drop( now they are high, but with an increased drop rate it will plummet). However, I do not think they will increase the drop rate of ecto, which would keep the value of ecto more stable in the future.
Just my 2 cents..

Well, those that want to read into something negative will do just that... If you are a jealous person it will come out and you will read the post that way... I just have to say don't be envious of others. This is a game and that's all it amounts to in the end..

As for bragging rights - I've got 3 great characters that I've had a great time playing the game with. (Had a fourth, but his bear ate him) Not one of them has every "Uber leet" thing you can get - a few things, but not all. But What they do have, I've gone out and gotten the hard way - except an IDS that I couldn't resist buying (n00b alert!), LOL.
Bragging about your armor is kinda silly, as lots of people dont know the difference anyway. and who can tell what runes you've got tied up in there, unless you open a trade window to show them? Besides, some of that FoW armor looks like crap anyway, but the wearers overlook that just for the fact that it's "uber leet" and not many people can afford it.

Tru Dat, cuz I see some of that FoW armor as ugly IMO. I did splurge for the Necro b/c it was so cool and unique. I think the other stuff is eh.. I could do without it or I'd rather not even look at it on another player... lol
