See, gameplay-wise I think I want my next character to be a Warrior, probably a War/Elem. I just really like running up and chopping at stuff. But appearance-wise they lag so far behind the other classes... the faces and hair are kinda un-inspiring to me, and the armor (at least the starter stuff and the PvP Only options) just doesn't measure up IMO. It makes me want to do something a little crazy, like an Elem/War tank.

So I was hoping some people might be able to post pics of your warrior characters looking awesome, to allay my lingering doubts. Thanks in advance.

Here's my character Jarvis The Paladin in full Wyvern armor with the helmet off standing outside of Lion's Arch. It's an older picture and I've recently gotten a full set of Knight's Armor and a new Flamberge to replace the old one. I'll post more screenshots tommorrow.





Oh, btw...those are the graphics at the lowest settings....

But am I the only one who can't stand the look of that armor? What is it the dragon set thing or something? I never played a warrior to any extent like that but God...I hate that armor so much, it just looks like fat stripes all around him. Yick, not the most badass guy I've ever seen. Maybe if he were a bit more unlike the michelin tire man I'd like him. I see LOADS of warriors with that armor...and I just...don't like it for some reason. Like the other guy who has it in this thread (no offense to him if he enjoys the look), just...not what I go for.

Sorry that was harsh, just don't like that armor, no matter who it's on.

I didn't like that armor either, but the only reason I wore it was that I thought the Ascalon Armor set looked worse!

I think it looks much better up close in-game than it does from a distance and especially in screenshots -- you can really see that it's metal beaten into a scale pattern. I do think it works better in a color other than red, though.

PS Jarvis looks pretty cool to me.

I neer liked the Wyvern Armor, I skipped right to gladiator armor. I actually bought a set of wyvern for a day and sold it off, going right back to my gladiator armor, because I didn't notice a big difference in damage prevention to excuse the loss of all that energy. Now I have the best armor available, and I'm not really missing that energy anymore as i'm using mostly adrenaline. Wyvern, I'll pass.

i hated the wyvern armor too but i had it cuz it was the next best armor i could get until i could get knights armorand also it was a step up in my opinion to the ringmail armor i had
