They should be avalible from all the merchants in post-searing, but you can find bags arounds from collecters and the like sometimes.

if you only have the one bag you can get a 5 slot belt pouch from the collector to your left as you go out the gate from askalon
he wants 5 skale fins for it(a bargain)

You can buy one belt pouch, and two bags to store extra equipment in. You can then purchase runes to increase the storage space of these bags.
Remember that after buying your belt/bag you have to drag it to it's outline spot before it can be used.

I looked around and I could only find people selling belt pouches! I found no bags anywhere...

Merchants sell bags...

When you get to Yak's Bend you can buy Rune of holding which will increase the size of the bag from 5 to 10. (500g a piece)

Can you only have one belt pouch at a time in a bag slot? I did the skale fins and the worn belts, so got two pouches, but can only get one to go into a bag slot; the other just drops back down into regular inventory

You have one belt pouch slot, and two bag slots. They aren't interchangable.

Summary:

You can not buy bags until you leave Pre.

When in Post, look for Merchants that sell bags. They go for a bit of money, so be prepared.

When you get to Lions Arch, you can buy Runes that double the bag size for you to a max of 10.

So overall, you have your inventory, belt pouch that you get in Pre, then are able to buy / collect bags in Post that can be upgraded.

Seems they've shifted some merchants' inventory around a bit. When I first got my bags, I remember very clearly getting them in Piken and then the runes in Yak's Bend. Now you can buy the runes in every city I've checked, but the bags can't be bought until Yak's Bend (that I've found). Bit of irony there.

Actually the bags are available from one of the merchants in Ascalon City (Post Sear) and in certain other places before Yak's Bend as well. Nolani is one, Piken another. The May 13 patch really updated the merchants wares!

Yup. As soon as my first character got to Yak's and I found those wonderful runes, the first thing I did was farm enough cash for 8 of them and 6 more bags to outfit all 4 of my toons with max holding (the only farming I've ever done in this game so far). Haven't cared much about merchants and bags since.
