About the difficulty to get RUNES

I would propose a petition to obligate Anet to modify the drop rune system! I have 6 characters, all have finished the game, all have explored all the world, some of them have made more than a dozen times the hardest missions in the game to help guildies, i made no farming and all six must totalize around 3 Million XP. I have GET ONE sup vigor! Never see the sup absorption! more than 2000 hours of game without get a whole set of sup runes!! 2 or 3 hours of PvP in low level arena and you get enough factions to unlock sup absorption and sup vigor!! It's inadmissible! And what about the runes drop colour system, its a joke no? very often i get purple armor (lvl 40) to get some minor, YES minor runes!! Even on gold armor you get almost only major runes, please Anet delete these options no one play with major runes, kick them off and put ALWAYS superior runes in gold armor AND increase the rate drop!! And how could i get my superior absorption for my warrior if they never drop or if i dont farm ??? and how i get the 5 superior vigor?? Anet tell they dont want people farm but the drop system and particularly regarding runes is a shame.

You clearly have no need for those sup runes since you managed to finish the game half a dozen times without them. The 9hp and 1 extra absorption you get from those sup runes won't change a thing.
So what's your problem then?

I would like to see them at least 'fix' the color of the drops. Like all other drops, I wish gold would mean superior ALWAYS, purple means major..etc. I mean, they don't do this with weaons. If you get a gold, it's gold..not purple. So why do it with runes? It definitely needs to be revamped.

Ok, this is getting dumb, color is NOT directly tied the how rare an item is. Color is tied to how rare it is for that item to be dropped by that mob. Each mob has a table that contains the items it can drop (ie, gold, ettin hides, ettin paldrons, etc). Some of these items have different variations, (ie might contain a minor rune, might contain a major rune, might contain a sup rune, etc). These items sit in different levels on this table. Lets say it's a 10 row table. white/blue items with ___ stats are the normal drop and sit in rows 1-6, purple items with ___ stats and ___ modifiers sit on row 7-9, and gold items sit on row 10. Now, you enter the zone and the game generates the mob, 60% of the time it'll be given something from rows 1-6, 30% from row 7-9 and 10% from row 10. These tables are partially shared by the different mobs in the game, however Whats on row 10 for a level 8 char flamethrower, might only be row 5 for a gypsie ettin. It's this row comparison, COMBINED with the level of the mob that dropped the item that determines the color. There are certainly other variables/factors at work as well, but this is the basic gist.
