compiled list of farmable monsters?

I just wanna make a list of monsters that are farmable (melee monsters preferably)

Heres what I can think of so far


Minotaurs = Outside augury
Griffons = outside augury
hydras = outside augury


Minotaurs = outside ice tooth This one I dont recommend too slow cash flow as the minotaurs are only lvl 10 or 11, but I was able to take on like 20 and kill them all, but even still it was too slow cash flow

Trolls = outside droks.... I find these guys just plain darn difficult. I am trying to figure out how to farm them good as an e/mo.

Where are all these ettins I hear about?

Trolls = outside of denravi. Havent had a chance to see how good their drops are, but I believe they are lvl 18, so i wouldnt think its TOO bad

Smite crawlers inside UW
Spiders inside FoW (warriors)
Imps in Sanctum cay mission
Grawls outside port sledge
Sand Wurms outside dunes of dispair
Perdition Isle and the Ring of Fire (warriors)
Avicara north of Granite(warriors and monks, maybe 27hp necro too)
Forest Titans in Kryta / Maguuma
Forest Minotaurs north of Kessex Peak

and many others...

Technically the entire bestiary could be considered farmable.

i dont know, i wouldnt want to farm devourers. they have crappy drops and are just plain annoying to kill.

Blessed griffon's drops are terrible, heh. There's farming the undeads in gates of kryta mission.

Actually not so crappy drops in places, and not annoying to kill with the right skills either. My "secret farming place" is actually a place with tons of devourers and one other type of monster.

secret place is thirsty river?

I'm going to go with Amnoon oasis area.

Ageed. I got 2 black dye from killing devourers so I can't complain.

27hp necro?

55 Necro with Aura of the Lich

27 necro is pointless just die and get DP and you get to keep SS.

back to the subject-
Drakes outside elona

I have soloed that and gotten nothing more than a pile or two of gold. Only once or twice soloing that did I actually see alot of drops (lousy drops). I guess that's just my luck, though.

With an elementalist, I found gargoyle farming outside Gates of Kryta to be pretty lucrative.

I had to wait out a lot of slowdown hexes, however. I guess it would have been more time-efficient to bring hex removal just because of that.

Oh yes -- places with large hordes of otherwise useless monsters can give a fair amount of dye, if you care. E.g., the gargoyles outside of Nolani Academy.

I should change my name to "Gargoylebane" or something.
