What is the rarest generic hammer? What are fangs used for?

Monstrous fangs, globs of ectoplasm..... what else?

I remember seeing a few more but i sold them to merchant..

I was never able to find an answer to the "Monsterous Claw" question either, so I finally just sold mine for the 100g that it's worth cuz I was tired of lugging it around. Maybe that's all it's good for...

PS - Could try expertly salvaging it? I didn't want to risk turning it to Bone or something though.

Well, I would guess the Mounsterous "x" is a collector item.
And you might get 20 or so bone from salvaging it.

Is MURSAAT Hammer 19-35 the rarest generic hammer?

Monsterous Fang or Monsterous Claw is actually a rare crafting material.. I've never seen anything that uses it though, and I only found one. They're worth 100 at a vendor though, so you're better off selling them than wasting one whole valuable space in your inventory/storage.

I bet one day I'll wish I hadn't sold that Monsterous Claw when it comes time to craft 'uber' armor and I need one!

I suspect that some of the items being inserted into the game now are intended for the long haul down the road. Maybe in a future expansion. It's this compelling idea that keeps me hanging on to worthless junk like the tapestry shred.

So, it IS used on something? Guess I'll keep that stuff till I see what I need for the 15k armor.

What about globs of ectoplasm? They are worth 100 too.

It stands to reason that these drops are usefull for *something* - they are very rare, are obviously crafting materials, have a high sale 'value' to the merchants... crap, i wish i had kept it now cuz I bet it will be used to craft something good later on. PLUS - i've seen people actually BUYING these from time to time.. they must know something we don't.

globs of ectoplasm are used to craft "uber" armor from an armor crafter in the fissure of woe.

Well this is what I found out talking to some people (havent gotten that far in the game myself yet). The Monsterous items are also used in Fissure to craft the 15K armor, I believe the claw is used for the Elementalist armor not sure about the other.

I read the same about the 15K armor in another post too, so... whoops! May be worth holding onto.

yea. i just want to know where the other crafting part drops... (you're gonna hate me for not saying the name aren't you?)

If the claw is used for the 15k ele armor set, then its not for the aero or geomancer set.

if you were to only get 20 bones from salvaging it, it wouldn't be worth it. In the area that I found my monstrous claw and eye the creeps there were dropping 12 to 20 bones each anyway.

Just about any hammer can go to max damage, 19-35. Theres no rare one, its all the design.

what are deminic remains for then? Got a bunch of them sitting in my inventory like 10.
