Howdy,
When buying new armor, I'd like to be able to see how it would look on my character, along with variations of dye colours, without actually buying it.
Just an image of my character in the "buy armor" window or whatever, just so I could realize it, or an actual "dressing room" window or something. I have no idea of the implementation.
Just I want to see the armor on my character without buying it/wasting 15k per piece. And I want to see the new colours without wasting all the dye on it.

Yes. Yes and double yes.
I've bought 15k sets that look good from what I can tell of their little picture, only to find they don't look so pretty. Which is why my Ranger has 4 sets.

Something tells me that if you just look around it would be pretty easy to find pictures people have posted of their avatar's in all the different armors.

Being able to see dye combos on your armor without wasting loads of plats would be handy though. However I don't think it's very high on Anet's priority list (for good reason).

But I don't think I should have to be required to scout around the internet or spam districts to find something like this.
Even then, I don't necessarily want a different armor set. I want to combine different pieces for a neat-o look. I saw a necromancer one day wearing various pieces--and while they told me what they were, I forgot and now have no idea.
Sure, I could page through each section of necromancer armor, but wouldn't it be nice to have that integrated directly into the game?
Even moreso if it had dye combinations, too? 'cause dyes do interact differently with each set.
