guru auction error?

i recently discovered the guru auction site, so i decided to give it a try. well lo and behold, someone was trying to sell a fiery dragon sword for 12 gold! so obviously i bought it. went over to the game, found him, opened trade window, and put down my 12 gold. well, then he claimed that guru auction glitched on him, and that it was supposed to be 12 PLATINUM. obviously i didn't believe him, and i told him that he can sell me the bloody sword for 12 gold or have his rating go down. then he threated ME that if i don't buy the thing for 12 platinum, MY rating will go down.

i wonder if there's a system in place already to punish this guy. if there's not, there better be one real soon.

We have feedback to "punish" users, but really it is an auction glitch. Being fixed tonight actually. If the price is too good to be true, then it usually is.

It is an auction error. It has happened many times to me, when I have edited an auction, sometimes the prices lose the zeros.

and by the way, how would i know how much the bloody thing is worth? i've never had one before. do you really assume that everyone who first start the game intuitively know the market price of everything?
