W/Mo

Hello everyone,

I am a level 12 Warrior/Monk and I just reached Yak's Bend. I am getting my butt kicked all over the place trying to do the quests at Yak's Bend. I think I have most of skills that I should have at this point in the game. I have a nice sword, axe, and hammer (at least I think they are nice) so I can really use any weapon.

Can anyone provide for me some good builds to be using at this point. I have primarily been using a sword, and doing frenzy, gash, sever artery, bane signet, rez signet, endure bane, and a heal or smite prayer.

I could really use some advice about how to get my W/Mo in working order. Thanks,

I am willing to change anything and everything to be a tank like warrior that can do well solo. That being said, here is me currently:

Frenzy
Sever Artery
Gash
Power Attack
Vigorous Spirit
Endure Pain
Orison of Healing
Resurrect

Total Attribute Points:65

Healing Prayers:Level 4
Strength:Level 9
Swordsmanship:Level 3
Tactics:Level 2 (+1 from a clothing item)

I have 11 Skill Points

What should I replace frenzy with? How are the rest of the skills?

Drop Frenzy for "Watch Yourself" to increase your armor. The adrenaline builds quite fast, so it's quite spammable.

As I favour swords, at this stage, I would use:

Healing Sig/Endure Pain
Sever Artery
Gash
"Watch Yourself"
Power Attack
Resurrect
Orison of Healing
Vigorous Spirit/Mending/Sprint

Put points in Swordmanship and Tactics, if the points do not affect the duration/damage of the linked skill, then assign it elsewhere, either Healing Prayers or Strength.

Depending on how effective your damage is, you can always switch points between Swordsmanship and Strength (to up Power Attack).

you do know that your damage on your weapons is not really how much you do unless you have enough req for the weapon.

Ex. a req 9 sword, 15-22
needs 9 swordmanship in order to do 15-22.

My advice: switch your second profession and be useful to your party.

My second piece of advice: choose a weapon, don't go for all three.

As for your attribute as you go up the levels getting more skills try to narrow down to only several types of skills so your attribute points arnt spread.

like everyone is saying decrease your strength and increase your swordsmanship.
if the requirement for the sword is 3 i highly doubt it is a 'good sword'. also i you should look at getting some runes. they help a bunch.
