Guildwiki has a list of monster types that are immune to knockdown, but I suspect it of being incomplete (and not just because they forgot to mention Ether Seals ).
Can Ettins be knocked down?
Can any elementals or golems be knocked down?
Can Siege Ice Golems be knocked down?
Can Flesh Golems be knocked down?
Can ghosts be knocked down?
Can Jade Armors be knocked down?
I know that lots of big or otherwise nonobvious things can be knocked down, including Muursaat, drakes, cacti, and so on. But I'm not clear on the types I mentioned.

What can't be knocked down

Can Ettins be knocked down? Normally No becuase they use balanace stance
Can any elementals or golems be knocked down? yes
Can Siege Ice Golems be knocked down? yes
Can Flesh Golems be knocked down? yes
Can ghosts be knocked down? yes
Can Jade Armors be knocked down? yes
Also on some of the monsters you see that dont get knocked down actually do, but they dont have a noticeable knock down animation.

Thanks. The lack of animation had me wondering.
I guess Meteor Shower isn't overrated after all, then. I just need to go burn something else so they don't run out of it while it's going off ...
Or just pack Meteor instead in builds where I don't mind the exhaustion.
AoE disruption can be a very nice thing.

Quote:
This may be your first time facing a Mursaat Tower powered by an Ether Seal, and they are bad news for your party. While the seal remains, the tower is activated by your proximity, and will initiate an area effect that quickly drains away your energy. Additionally, the seal will cast Air spells. So, not only will you not have the energy to hit the seal with spells and skills, but you will not have the energy to heal your teammates as they get clobbered with Chain Lightning and Mind Shock. When attacking a seal, you should first try to lure away its defenders to a distance where your healers and spellcasters can operate outside the tower's light radius. The seal itself is much easier to destroy once its defenders are dead. Tip: It may be a good idea for your Warriors to bring a few adrenaline-based attacks, and not just energy-based ones. Tip: Knockdowns do work on the seals. The round seal will collapse when it is successfully knocked down. |

OK. So this is not a rare Guildwiki error?
Thanks!
(And does the quoted part mean a single meteor against an Ether Seal springs it?)

None of the mentioned things have a resistence that I know of (except balanced stance users).
and if you want to laugh at animation then fight any Charr Ranger types. They have a seizure when they do their prep.

As for elementals, they can't be knocked down, except for the boss ones. Why this is so, I have no clue, but they are the only ones that will animate, be interrupted, and take the extra aftershock damage. Regular ones just seem to totally ignore it, in animation, lack of being interrupted, and damage.

i think thats worshipping the flame gods who power their arrows (aka titans) ~ on that subject you cant knock down titans, or things riding dolyaks (hence the effects of the skill Dolyak Signet), and Wurms dont either, since theyre about 300 times the size of the hammer youre hitting them with, and mursaat can be knocked down, they fall to the ground for a second and crouch before jumping back up

I tried to knockdown Glint to interrupt her healing,
But she didn't fall
(or is it a he?)
