My next mission is in the Ring of Fire. I understand I'll encounter some monsters that go for recuperative strolls in lava pools, which suggests they can't be set on fire and may well be immune to fire damage as well.
But what other monsters if any can't be set on fire? I haven't detected an on-fire graphic for any kind of elemental, for example, including Siege Ice Golems (but their AL against fire doesn't seem to be great). How about ghosts? Phantoms? Flesh golems? Hydras?
What can't be set on fire?

Everything suffers from fire degeneration damage. I cant recall if titans do, but I think lava may not affect them and enemy units as it may constitute as friendly to them.
So lava is foe to you, it hurts you.
Its friend to them, and therefore has no effect.
Thats my guess, I never tried immoliate on titans, but everything else can be set on fire and suffer hp degen.

Like I said in ur other post... Q and Q section. Or use the search.

Titans will burn, but it needs to be a player to set them on fire.

For the fire island stuff, whenever you are doing elemental damage try to have a ranger put winter down. Alot of the monsters on the fire isles are vulnerable to cold damage and winter turns all elemental damage into cold.

Thanks!
So why is it said you shouldn't bring fire weapons, fire damage, etc. to the Ring of Fire?

And I failed to turn up anything useful via Google search.
Could you please educate me in my ignorant newbieness just exactly which search string I should have used?
Thank you in advance.

Winter will turn that fire damage to cold damage, however, which deals twice (yes, twice) the damage to titans and most fire-resistant creatures.
If you want, throw in greater conflagration too. It will turn physical damage into fire damage, which (assuming winter) then turns in cold damage...
IDS wins for style, though.

OK. So they have AL bonuses against fire, AL penalties (-40) against cold damage, and react normally to being set on fire?
Thanks!
Thanks!
