Life Barrier/Bond on a Pet?

Is that even possible to do? If it is, and you are already using Symbiotic Bond, which of the other two would help the most, Life Bond or Barrier?

Actually, I Life Bond my pet all the time. I use that instead of Symbiotic Bond when I'm training it. Dunno about Barrier, but of those skills, I only use Bond.
