No Face Scarf for Ranger

Do any of you guys know why if you try to make a new ranger, The scarf does not came with it? Is it a glitch my comp has? Thanks for answering.

Other than warriors, all other professions do not get head gear when you start a new character.
Once you are done pre sear you can then get a head gear for your character.

This was updated during the PvP weekend last month.

Personally, I think this sounds like a bug rather than a feature, since from release to that update the headgear was available for starting characters.

Granted, the little armor provided by the headgear was minimal, but it makes a difference when getting beaned by a charr.

I had this happen a few weeks ago when I started a male ranger character. I thought this was just normal. My daugther had started a female ranger about the same time. While helping her in Pre I noticed she had a face mask and I did not. I asked where she got it and she said she started with one. So this must be some type of glitch.

Started three new characters in the past two weeks. Necro, mesmer and ranger. None had headgear in pre.

Why is that, anyway? I don't see any reason for removing the starter headgear in pre...except to get people to stop asking "leik omg whar do i got helmit from collectar?"
