Modifying Trades

This is a question I probably should have asked months upon months ago, but just have never gotten around to it. Let's say I show XX player 3 weapons he may possibly wish to buy. He decides he wants the 2nd one, but not the others. For some reason if I attempt to modify the trade by removing the weapons, they will not move, but remain there. Am I missing something or just doing it incorrectly?

I believe you can double-click the item to return it to your inventory. Alternately, move the item from one spot in your inventory to another spot and it should come down from the trade window.

Cool. Thats a great question. I was having the same trouble.

Yup once you submit offer the guy chooses. Do modify offer and double click the ones you want to take out.

You can also drag it out, but you can't drag it to a different spot in the inventory. You have to drag it out of the trade window to some other spot on the screen (as if you were dropping from your inventory to the ground) and it will clear from the trade window.

yeah thats what I do, I just drag out to he ground.

It took me forever to figure out that just double clicking will get rid of them.

So wonderful to know, was anoyed, tried moved it back, didnt work, but now i know what does!
