I was wondering how you guys would rank your top three best farm spots (and mobs). Keep in mind three certain categories:
Difficulty (Easier would obviously mean better), Drops and Time.
I haven't farmed many spots, infact I've only really farmed three, but I'll set the precedent anyway.
Higher number = Better, for instance, a higher number difficulty means it is easier.
1. Griffons
Difficulty: 8
Drops: 7
Time: 9
Average: 8
2. Trolls
Difficulty: 7
Drops: 7
Time: 8
Average: 7.3
3. Ettins
Difficulty: 6
Drops: 9
Time: 5
Average: 6.6

Ettins are easy, got 4 gold drops off them in 50 - 60 minutes today, no luck with superior vigor/absorption though

If you think ANet doesn't already know all these farming spots, than it's you that is the naive/idiotic one. If they were REALLY looking at this forum, do you think they couldn't find common farming spots just from looking at these posts? Every other post is something about farming. I slice thru griffons liek a hto knife thru butter, on the other hand if i get whacked with a disrupting chop while casting prot ......byebye me.

Taking down group of 25-30 griffon+minotaurs = easiwer thansame amnt of trolls.. just cause of disrupting chop.

ya, that place hunting for the wurms are pretty good too... when you a a little tired of the other 3 places, then just go get the shells that are worth 1 plat each.. think thats the 4. best place to farm :P

actually yes, i for one would like anet to nerf these easy farming spots, give build makers something else to do for a week or two, and personally my favorite farming spot is the fissure forest, but i dont see that getting nerfed since the build doesnt win the area for you like minotaurs or griffons

I find Desert Griffons and Minotaurs outside of Augury to be the best for me. Solo, i get about 400-500 actualy gold drop, plus another 200-300 from minotaur horns/hides and griffon wings.
I get about 1-2 golds every 6 runs and a good share of purples and blues.
I farm Snow Ettins in Griffon's Mouth (yes, they ARE only level 11) just because of how many of them they are. I can take on about 20 and finish the aggro off in under 3 minutes. I usually get good purple weapons/runes every 2 runs.
^^ and being able to just zone out then in its pretty much non-stop farming.

I usually do Griffs/Minos with W/Mo, occassionally Hydras for a change of pace. If they feel like dropping a buch of scrolls it's maybe a bit better money from selling parchments... but some times I go entire runs without any scrolls dropping so Griffs take the cake for braindead ease.
Been a long time since Rockshots have posed a problem, I routinely take on Featherfist, about a dozen Griffs, about 9 Minos with 2-4 Rockshots flinging crap at me and it's never an issue.

well ettins give out gold runes. Griffons with me i have always gotten gold shields with 35 or higher life while enchented, not many gold drops besides those when i farm them. Trolls never gotten anything good besides purples.

With my solo trapper build, trolls and ettins are jokes (unless of course you die and then the trolls attack your spirit and die, but you get no drops b/c you're on the ground ). With my 55 me/mo, griffs are a breeze, too. If your prot. spirit gets interrupted by rockshots, you should just delete the game. Seriously.
Just trying to say that warriors and 55 monks don't have all the fun.

Go to Elona mission and kill all eight Dune Burrowers. I got some good gold drops from them.

I usually farm griffs/mins and I dont mind the drops I get. before ANet nerfed it I'd get a gold every 2-3 runs 
now I get gold every 5-7, and I usually get good purples/blues. I dont bother with trolls unless im power lvling, and Im too lazy to get more skills to farm ettins.

No fellblade for me as yet. Got FDS from trolls but clean fellblade > FDS IMO(fire dmg mod...bah). No real good drops lately....Ill switch to FoW a bit...
