How many mods can an axe carry, id like to assemble the best axe you can get ingame, so can you people help me out ?

Ignoring the innate enchancements, axes can only have 2 mods - Axe Haft prefix and an Axe Grip suffix.

One time i got a clean Chaos Axe and i modded it with a vamperic 3:1 and a +30hp mod and it worked well and i loved it. It also works really well when your farming many enimies at a time.
