Need to know the type of axe and the requirement.

The vampiric itself is worth around 8K nowadays.

About 8K...too bad it's a relatively ugly axe.

Vamp Axe Hafts were worth that amount about 3-4 months ago. Nowadays, they normally fetch around 10K, but the gamble of salvaging one discounts that a bit.
