Elona's reach, was it this hard for everyone else?

I'm dead serious, I've tried this mission a dozen times. How am I supposed to beat it? It's impossible. The only monks I can find are henchies.

This mission is very easy! Here's a few tips.

-Be your group leader, and make a group of people who will listen to commands.
-Have two warriors, a player monk, and a player elementalist for aoe.
-Have your main warrior pull one group at a time, and have him call targets one after another.
-Go for the sages first, followed by the anarchists, then the enchanted stuff.
-Have your group look at the radar, make sure they don't pull any other groups.
-Always kill boss minions before a boss.
-Don't rush through it, take your time. There's more than enough of it

This mission is really easy. It all boils down to your group. If they can listen and follow directions, it's a breeze. I took someone who never did it before and they were lucky enough to come beat it on their first try with us. All because he listened.

Good luck!

I can only second that in all points. We tried this mission yesterday with an incohesive group of players who wouldn't listen to one voice nor would anyone effectively take the lead. There was always someone who sooner or later drew too many monsters for us to handle and we failed miserably about six times.

Then the four of us that were left, took two hirelings and did the mission again under one command (and finally our new leader listened to me and we killed those healing Sages first!)

I would still not call it easy but it was certainly managable with characters between level 17 and 20 (our 17er was pretty satisfied he was the lowest level char who finished it when we returned - even though he was only 180XP short of 18

We did it last night with 3 henchmen (1 being our healer), a 20 war/mon, 20 war/ele and me 15 ele/nec. Was pretty easy if you just use the assist function and take out healer first.

The Ascension missions are significantly easier when everyone in the group agrees to follow the leader's orders. When you have no leader or worse, two leaders, you will run into trouble.

It took me two times to beat Elona's. First time our group had two people who tried to bark orders with the result that we were often fighting multiple mobs of enemies at the same time and died.

Second group had one leader, who gave good orders and people listened and we finished the mission with like 11 minutes to spare.

oh and one piece of advance, if you join a group and they say, "we are going to use the glitch" chances are that group is going to fail.

Yeah I thought this quest was really hard at first after going with 2 groups and getting slaughtered both times, but it all comes down to people playing as a team and not as a team of individuals.

I got sick of having to deal with people doing stupid things, not listening and most importantly not working together and getting the party killed. Gotta love those pyschopathic players who just want to kill EVERYTHING and so they attack EVERYTHING. So I just got 5 henchmen and did it.

The ending cut scene was pretty funny as I ran back to the ghost with the last vision piece with a huge mob behind me, I'm sitting there getting wacked around left and right in the cut scene. Was memorable.
