Sorrrow's Greens?

After having bad luck in the new tombs today i decided to try my luck in sorrow's furnace.

After a few of the party bailed there was just three of us and two henchies we didi rather well and must of killed about 5 bosses inside (grognard gravelhead et al.) And all the bosses in grenths.

But heres the thing, not one single green dropped for anyone!!??

Whats up with that?
Does it happen all the time?

I thought they fell from the sky in there.

Nope. It's luck. Just like any other place.

I find they don't drop very often when you're not doing an actual quest, like Oro or FA. I use to go in there with henchies all the time or with guildies and just farm, no quests and get good drops. Now it seems if we just go in there and kill all the bosses we get nothing or one of the crappy ones. But if you go on Oro or FA quests you seem to get decent drops at times. At least this is my observation of myself and others I speak to in my guild and in groups I venture into SF with.

Don't waste your time with Sorrow's Furnace. There's only a couple green items that are actually worth anything. I'm sitting on about 20 of them right now with no buyers. If you're looking for items, try collectors, their items are just as good.

I think it does not matter, Ive heard both you need to Do a Quest, and that you get more drops without it. Ive done both and Ive had runs in each where 5 greens Drop and been skunked in both. I'm just planning on buying SF greens now. the only stuff I ever get are Galigords rods and Vilnar. The Tombs UW has been much nicer to me.
