Hey, i got through all the missions in the desert by myself with a basic MM build, never really investing in any skills other than the basics, and i was wondering, how to ascend my necro, thanks :P

bring along defile flesh and dark pact, and healing breeze if your a monk, cuz im pretyt sure dopple cant use that still:P just go right up next to him, and start attacking, but dont use defile and dark. Dopple should continuously use them, sacrifcing himself to death

just ascended my necro/mesmer at lvl 8 tonight (no i am not kidding);
used the secondary skills to own doppleganger:

Backfire/Empathy

and mixxed in a bit of enfeeble to really school em.

I had to add Awaken the Blood, which help tons, but still not enough. I ended up putting all my points into Marksmanship.. got close to him... and used Power Shot over and over.

Also you MUST use a shortbow,halfmoom, recurve..... anything BUT a longbow, stormbow, or hornbow. They attack way too slowly.

When I did this I was Level 8, once I beat him im Level 14.
