Hi all.
This has probably been posted, but search is down & I wanted to add my 2 cents.
As an E/Mo I took the following spells in and whupped his ass in about 10 sec.
All Attribute points into Fire Damage & Energy storage.
1: Earth Attunement
2: Air Attunement
3: Fire Attunement
4: Water Attunement
5: Flare
6: Fire storm
7: Meteor shower
While he wastes his time casting Attunements Cast following:
1: Fire storm
2: Meteor shower
3: Spam Flare till he drops.
Mission accomplished.

This sounds like a good idea but you can do it with just ONE skill.
Flare
Max out the damage for it and then as soon as you get in there samm flare to hell, even while its recharging keep clicking,y ou'll get the first shot in and should win. You may end up with like 5hp left but atleast you won.

I took loads of enchantments, but I cast them all then used Ether Renewal (For 7 seconds, each time you cast a spell, you gain 1...3 Energy and 5...17 Health for each "Enchantment" on you.) then I spammed flare. beat him very quickly with a lot of health and energy left
just remember to cast Conjure Flame first since it removes the others

I didn't bother changing from air spike build. Just blind him. Enchant yourself with auru and air attunement... then unload lighting orb, enervating charge and strike on him. Dead in 20 seconds.

Beat him tonight at lvl 9 or 10, brought 4 attunes, flare, fireball, and meteorshower. Shower ASAP, then fireball, flare, flare, flare, fireball, etc until he drops.

Bah yeah! That is a great idea...
For me, the Geomancers build, just bring in anything with:
Armor of Earth
Kinetic Armor
Obsidian Flame
Stone Daggers
Stoning
Actually it isnt as fast as the build mentionned up there but itll do fine against the doppleganger. "He" doesn't use Obsidian Flame because of Exhaustion and he only spam Stone Daggers+Stoning rarely. Just do your defense at the beginning and spam Stone Daggers+Stoning+Obsidian Flame and you won within 30 seconds.

Hi. Im a lvl 11.5 ele/Necro.... i read some of the doppelganger stuff and none of it seems to work...i tried the flare trick and i took 1/4 of his health b4 he killed me.... i have 55 attribute points +4 from runes to fire magic...i have full droks armor and really need this xp so if anybody can help me it would be much appreciated.

Obsidian Flame is the skill
For an Obsidian spike build, you only need this skill and spawn it no matter what about your exhaustion.
