I posted here, and deleted that post. Now i can talk about it when the game is acutally out.

The Hot debate will be this vs. Ritual Lord.

Ritual Lord at big lvls make the rituals recharges go down to ~20 secs.

This makes the next spirit cast super fast, and recharge...INSTANTLY.

Theres no denying that Ritual Lord will be better in a longer/harder fight. Like PvP. But Soul Twisting is good onthe pve side, and can literally keep up almost as many spirits going as Ritual lord. The only qualm about it in PvP is if they kill your spirits off before you can twist them.

In Pve side its much better, on par with Ritual Lord. If only for the simple reason that it has no time restrictions. If you finish off a group and have a spirit left up - You can Twist it, and save that twisting until the next aggro group (the only thing that deactivates twisting is using a spirit, dying, or zoning) and put it up really fast at next group.

Also I dont know if it is a bug, or if it was fixed in the update, but when Factions came out - This skill had a weird property - You could use it even in the middle of casting something else, much like you can do with a Stance.

You get it from Ritualist Construct in the Suniiang District mission.

And most are going /r (or r/rt , but i think thats worse..personal opinion) for a spirit spammer like this would be used for. For Serpent's Quickness.

rt/me is where it's at for pvp, because mantra of resolve is awesome. also, i think soul twisting is great for blood spike, because it allows you to instantly destroy the previous spirit or one about to die, and get a new one up faster. then the necros have more energy, one can bip you, and you're good to go. also, don't overlook the power to instantly get rid of the frozen soil that you had up from when things were going your way.

I want this skill for my PvE E/Rt, but i've played Sunjiang about 6 times now and still haven't got the Rit construct spawn.

With Soul Twisting, E/Rt becomes really effective, because of energy storage (no battery), and the fact that Soul twisting doesn't need spawning. A communing build would become nearly invincible with the spirits you could keep up with a E/Rt.

ok, first of all, the skill description n GWGuru is quite frankly wrong, although the person who posted first described it's working correctly (more reason why I only look up skills on GuildWiki and nowhere else). The skill type is a skill, not an enchantment. If it was enchant, it could be stripped easily.

As for it's use, I can really only talk in terms of PvE, since that's where the majority of my rit experience is. I'm sure it works great for some builds that don't use a lot of spirits, but I generally ran with Recuperation, Shelter, Union, and Displacement. I used Ritual Lord for this because there really was no point in destroying one of these spirits early then recreating it after because if the fight was steady, that spirit would be recharged by the time the old one died. If it was an intense fight the spirit could likely die before you could target it or while you were in the middle of casting another spirit. This also worked for one spirit at a time, so in builds like mine that were based around dropping multiple spirits, it was simply advantageous to have them all recharge ultra fast and be able to almost continually drop them.
