Ok...I keep getting an error "Out of memory" followed by a different message almost every time some examples are:

The reason you are getting this error is more than likely due to the fact that your phyiscal memory has been used up.
There are 2 ways to correct this.
First and the best is to buy more memory to put in your computer.
Memory is the easiest piece of hardware you could posibly install.
No cables no power issues and they even idoit proofed against putting it in backwards.
The second is to increase your virutal memory. This is done in diffrent ways depending on your OS. Use your help file to figure out how you can adjust it.
The down side to this is that it isnt nearly as fast as physical memory AND because it uses your hard drive to write and re-write data over and over again quickly your hard drive will become defragmented very fast and you will experience performance loss. If you have to do this defrag you HD a lot!!!

thanks a lot that's all I needed to know. Friend told me it might have been video card memory problems, so I wasn't sure. I know how to install more memory and basic things like that...changed a hardrive once, so I think I can upgrade memory sticks or something

Also wondering...why would other games not have this problem, yet have greater memory requirements>> I had Sims2 installed on this computer and it ran perfectly fine, yet this game requires less memory and gets these memory errors about every hour to 2 hours
