Does there be any change?

when you have choose in the begin that you are ready to travel with tydus and you get to the broken city and the northern wall, but i don't like the sad sight of it.
My question is if it get's any (happier) , so the nice green world in the beginning, will i see that again in the game later? or some like that.
i am now at the quest that i have to rescue some soldiers.

hehe. Don't worry you will get all kinds of nice places to explore.
Snowy, jungles, mountains, deserts, plains, beaches etc etc etc.
Just keep on going

at the start no but past that it does get nicer beaches mountains desert

if by "nicer" you mean nice forest turns into desert, then yes, it gets nicer
