Somebody posted pictures of some kind of mini-drake somewhere on this forum. I hope whatever it is is charmable, it looks awesome.

Guild Wars has said many times that there will be new pets, but probably not any mounts...think about it, how would you work mounts in the game would have to totally be reamped...it would screw w/ the econmy(runs would be sooo easy)

I would love to have a cool pet...unless they nerf iway which would make pets useless again

Mandy, I know a lot of people haven't tried it, but if you have a ranger, try running with a nearly full bar of BM skills pets can actually do a lot of damage, it's just that most rangers prefer to run with marks. and WS.
I'm hoping that maybe we will get pet armour at some stage. And I never, ever want to see mounts in GW.

Even though I'm not too much in favor of mounts, IF they can take me places faster then I think I'll be tempted to use them

try playing a full beastmaster with some smiting skills to boost your pets damage. enemies go down fast. i cant tell you how many times people have tried to run from my pet in pvp, but they cant most of the time, thanks to call of haste.

We're all used to GW being a game where equipment and abilities are on a pretty level playing field, and where the big money drains are for appearance. Why can't they introduce mounts under this same philosophy? Just aesthetics... no increased movement, attack, etc. Just make you look badass and somehow work in a gold-sink.

What if it was a skill that would allow you to mount your pet? Basically a Charge! but it only affects you and your pet? And of course it was in the Ranger BM line. 50% chance of failure if Pet is under level 15. It ought to be big enough by then...

i demand mini-dragons or wyverns or something! im sick of the normal animals. .they are fun, but where are the dragon babies that grow and mature into small dragons? i want large pet growth... starts out the size of your head ends up bigger than you... heck yeah...

It would be nice to be able to switch out pets. Since having a pet is such a major decision, since you have to level up new pets from scratch. I'd like to try a new pet, but giving my level 20 pet to the Tamer would be kind of rough.

But the Kirin(from my last post) will be maybe a pve foe's mount. The types of pets I think that will be in GW:Faction, are going to be (real)animals from China and Japan, ie. a tiger or monkey.

iirc no pve char will be left from the factions pve event in any usable/playable form with skills, however I couldn't blame you for trying in the slightest

I hope we get new pet like lions or some type of drakess creature. My guess is sence the theme seems to be Asain were may have dragon like ones, and hopfully a phoenix perhaps a tiger. I would say tortise aswell but them that would be prtty much the four gods. Seiryu, Suzaku, Byakko, and Genbu. That would cool yet odd in a sence.
