Are there going to be new pet types in chapter 2?

Read the FAQ and there was no info, would anyone know?

Yes, I read in one of the many announcements that there are going to be new pets. Hurray!

any better than my lvl 20 BW, no, prob not.

unless my pet can get to lvl 21. then i'd get a new one.

Somebody posted pictures of some kind of mini-drake somewhere on this forum. I hope whatever it is is charmable, it looks awesome.

I'd get a new one if it comes level 20 and looks like an aatxe - just love those red eyes.

And to answer the OP, yeah there will be new pets I've read it many times and even Gaile confirmed it..

Dune lizards. they deal Pircing damage.

Ditto on that.

ESP if they deal the same dmg.

"oops, my pet just killed that guy in 1 hit..."

Or the abbility to take a second pet, so you can choose wich one you take.

yeah, i'd like to have more pets!, at least one of each like dire, hearty etc for different occasions

Guild Wars has said many times that there will be new pets, but probably not any mounts...think about it, how would you work mounts in the game would have to totally be reamped...it would screw w/ the econmy(runs would be sooo easy)

Nope, wasn't one of those buggers. It was colourful and had a kind of mane like a horse. Reminded me of some kind of Pokemon, can't remember which though.

But really, I would rather have the AI fixed, and or just the whole system be re-vamped.

I would love to have a cool pet...unless they nerf iway which would make pets useless again

Mandy, I know a lot of people haven't tried it, but if you have a ranger, try running with a nearly full bar of BM skills pets can actually do a lot of damage, it's just that most rangers prefer to run with marks. and WS.
I'm hoping that maybe we will get pet armour at some stage. And I never, ever want to see mounts in GW.

I do hope you can get your old pets back again somehow, cause i'd hate to see Kratos the invincispider go.

I hope they fix the pet AI first...

Gaile did mention mounts being a possibility I believe...
Even though I'm not too much in favor of mounts, IF they can take me places faster then I think I'll be tempted to use them

i want a hurricane jeep. better and faster than ANY pet would ever be...
