I'd like to request a few minor changes to the current color coding system for item drops, party members, etc. -- things out in the zone not town.
The current system as I can remember right now:
Red = enemies
Yellow= town signs, chests, quest / special items (The hollow log, bleached bones, etc.)
Green= green items, party members, minions, pets
Blue= blue item drops
Purple= purple item drops
Gold= gold item drops
White= item drops, speech
Grey= name of corpses
This system is great. I like the colors. I think changing any colors to new colors would be a bit to chaotic. I was thinking a change in the shade of color for a few things:
Pets & minions
Green item drops
or
Party members
As a new necro, I've discovered the frustration I've heard so much about from my friends: targeting the minions. I've seen ideas pop up for necro summons windows (fun fun), and "target next minion" keys. Great ideas. Perhaps an addition or even an alternative could be to make the minions names appear in a different shade of green.
Also, the Green Items are the funnest thing ever to hunt...It's such a let down to say, "Yay I got a So-and-So of Gilead... no wait, that's my fellow party member. Dangit!" Or in tombs with the time count down -- you're scrambling to find your greens and clicking on your party members. It brings me to tears and my friends have been asking me to stop poking them like that so much.
In town, ppls name's appear in diff shades of blue depending on whether they are in a party or not. Could we please do the same thing with all these things sharing Green?? Oh please, Oh please, Oh please?!
