GWG Auction: Which other categories would you like to see?

Hello all, if you are using the auction system, you have certainly noticed that we reworked the categories/subcategories in order to make it easier to find items.

Unfortunately, the "Suggest a category" field on the "Sell an item" page is used for anything but submitting category/subcategory suggestions. Because of that, if you have any thoughts on additional auction categories and/or subcategories that you might like, feel free to post them here.

Some notes: The general concept has been to emphasize the attributes as that seems to make the most sense from a potential buyer's perspective. At the same time, this approach enables us to integrate future expansions of the game. Regarding chapter II, we take the approach that until the release of chapter II, any information regarding Guild Wars: Factions is preliminary, incomplete, and subject to change.

While not helpful for categories that you are looking for I really like the new categories and all the ideas that I had for new cats have already been added!

but you have a lot of catagories covered...great work on the auctions

Well, the green items are included in the respective attribute categories, e.g. bows - marksmanship required - green bows, focus items - healing prayers-based - green healing ankhs, axes - axe mastery-based - green axes.

This was mostly done because we may have to accommodate (pure speculation, no such statements have been made by Anet) possible additional future weapon classes - say ... pink weapons or brown weapons - that could be fit into the existing structure.

I wouldn't mind seeing some of the old ones back. Like what was it called...Casters Supplys or Equipment or something like that. Because sometimes I liked looking at all the staffs, wands and focii at once.

Or a way to just click on Blood magic, and I've got everything with a blood magic attribute to look at.

Anyways, I like the new system so far. Much better than what was there before.

The only thing that I would like to see is. If you do a search for say something "enchanting" it comes up with several categories with numbers by them, but all of them say enchanting. Is there some way to add which category they are, ie. hammer, bow, staff, etc?

Not so much a category suggestion.
Not sure if it's the way I got it set up, but all the ending soon auctions appear at the end of the listings for an item which means i have to scroll all the way down & sometimes change pages.

I am not complaining, but i missed out on an auction when the server was slow and the item I wanted was on page 3 as it was ending in 2 minutes.

Would it be possible to reverse it that so that we could see them on the first page and have the longer items at the end???
