Hi there. I took off from guild wars for a long time because I was sick of my game tweaking on me since I had a FX card and there used to be a problem with them and the game. My question is would I be able to play without the game tweakin/did they solve the problem or is the game still not compatible with the FX cards. Thanks.
P.S.-Sry if this is in the wrong forum if it is.

Never knew FX cards have problems, my friends plays GW on fx5200. Do you have the latest Nvidia drivers? Also this is the wrong forum, go to "technical corner" for this type of question.

I've got a fx 5200 and I have absolutely no problems with any game I've ever played. Just get the latest drivers probably. This card is the most widely supported video card in the world.

zap, theres a sticky at the top of the techie forum that gies you lots of good info on the nvidia drivers....
but i guess it depends on what it does.
with a fx5200, just turn it down to min vid performance, and if the grass was turning into sand textures (like it was for a friend in pre sear..gee but it still looked gorgeous with the red flowers all sprouting thru the sand ^^ hehe)
that should get your grass back....

I have the Fx 5700, and I have absolutely no problems

I have FX 5700 Ultra 138 mb and have no real issues.
Only thing I notice in Krytia the background tress will shimmmer / disappear but that happened with the 8x drivers. Slightly happening on the 7x drivers but got worse.
Other then that, run at 75% quality slider and 1024x768 w/ AA turned on and runs great.
