No. Any skill that lists how long it knocks down is unaffected by Stonefist Gauntlets.

Stoneskin Gauntlets lengthen knockdown time by +1 (for a maximum of 3 seconds).

Gale knocks down a target for 3 seconds. So, yes, they work as advertised (but don't work).

I'm going to venture a guess and say "yes." The GuildWiki description for Shock doesn't state a knockdown time, so it'd be similar to SoJ/Meteor/whatever else that isn't Gale.

Stonefist Gauntlets will work on any knockdown who's skill description does not specify a certain knockdown duration (up to 3 seconds max.)

For example, A particular skill that says "Target is knocked down for 1 second" will be unaffected by the gauntlets. Another skill with the following description, "Target is knocked down" will be affected.

Therefore Stonefist gauntlets will work with Shock.
