I'm surprised nobody has messaged me about Control Alt Delete.
Dont Call Me A Newb isn't exactly in demand, but it sure gets a lot of attention

I also had another issue with name, but this was quite a while back. I once made a quick warrior and decided after 3 failures to go ahead and take a pre-made name (i think those aren't available anymore). Anyhow after a few days, i started getting PM from a bunch of diffrent people. Some were like "hey your back". or some were hostile "like hey you jerk,". I tried to convince them that they had me confused with someone else, and that i just created this character and took one of the pre mades. One person even went as far as create a Pre-Ascalon character so i could show him, that i wasn't the same jerk that he was referring to, that kicked him out of a guild.

I'm generally not that creative a person, when I try to be my char names suck. The above name, Rashiel Trahelion is a cross between a R'shiel in one series and a Trahelion from the Wheel of Time series.
Like another poster above me, I find I need more characters than the game allows most often. If I try and be "clever" and make a name my geekiness likes someone else has almost always taken it. So, I randomly combine first and last names from different series until I get one that no one else uses. Sometimes I use ones I made up my self, but then I end up with crap-o like "Lanna Mos".
Personally I wouldn't pay for a name - even if it was my beloved "strcpy" that I've used for over a decade now. Though if anyone wants to pay me lots of cash (even game cash) for any of my crappy names I'll take it.

I'm having more problems with name-lenght limitation than actual naming.
Well, small chance anyone would call a character Hekk Torq Bleakfist or Evian Blackburn, since they're my D&D epic lvl characters (Lich and archmage )
As someone mentioned above , lots of Wheel of Time names around. Being a Wheel of Time fan myself, all I can say is...Jaric Mondoran FTW!

I had someone ask to buy my girl necro's name: Fury Scorned
NO idea why, it's not that good a name. Still turned him down though, I mean I'd hate to come across him later using my name, it would feel wierd.
