OK 2 thing
1) make the smoke phantome lvl 20 and semi resistance to the mursatt touch attaque, just so they can send out 1 last spell.
2) you invading a fort, where your army, Dwarve soldiers and mage should apear, and not just 1 or 2, I mean like a dozen, and should be more then just standing and using frenzy to kill them self, make them so they can atleats bring the enmie a bit down.
thats my 2 cent on how to make THK easier.
Making THK that much easier

I don't think it need to be any easier.. but make it shorter. I like the challenge, but having to go through the same thing over and over again, each time wasting a hour of so, just gets old fast.
If I have any say in remaking the THK, would skip pass the Reclaiming the city part, make more hench/friendly Drawven army, as well as armies of enimes (to get the Helm's deep type of epic feeling), more explosions, and more excitment. Make it feel more like a War, a Deadly Battle, and not just few groups of mob trying to gank you.

THK is easy. what's the big deal. Trappers have a field day and so do minion masters.
With my ele i used henchies. failed 3 times as i wasnt infused. first 2 times couldnnt be bothered to get infused 3rd time i was but i had different gloves on. I swear to Dog that the enemies do less if you have henchies.

Would be nice of they blew up a piece of the wall, and came rushing in with a full army, and a army of undead + summit warriors at your back ready to die. And the one thing that GW needs - A warcry for every race/profession! And and and...

THK itself isnt that hard, the problem is that it requires teamwork and a steady, methodical aproach. I would like to see more of the earlier missions needing a similar aproach to complete them, that way players might be better equiped to deal with THK by the time they get there. I had a nightmare taking my first character through because of bad pugs, back before they improved the AI of the henchies (they didn't used to heal the king) but now its a lot easier, I got my latest character through on the first attempt using henchies after 5 frustrating tries with pugs.

THK was a nightmare for me, mainly due to unreliable PUG syndrome. Yes, it's hard, but it needs to be. The only thing I feel needs tweaking is the LENGTH of the mission. Fail it once (ALWAYS right at the end) and you don't want to go through all that again for quite a while. I got so fed up with THK that I ran myself to Grenth's Footprint and enjoyed myself for AGES, returning to Thunderhead only once or twice a week until I finally passed it.
Some tweaking necessary, perhaps?

THK isn't hard at all. You just need an good leader who can lead the team. Most PUGs are uncoordinated and thus blame it on the mission. I had a good warrior in our team as a leader who always managed to stick us together and not only that, he was ingenious as to use the torch to attract all the monsters to him so they could hit him, meanwhile we barrage them with our own attacks. It worked and we finished the mission just like that.

THK is hard; deliberately so. As mentioned several times in this thread and several others, THK is a noob filter. Awful description, but THK serves as a deterrant to people who have been run to Droknar's, stopping them from waltzing into RoF the easy way.
OFFTOPIC - I struggle to use the word 'run' in the GW context. How is it conjugated? I will run you, I have been run etc. Doesn't seem like proper English somehow...
