Guild Wars Auction House! help or hurt?

I think it would help with the storage problem. A lot of people, including myself, keep items that they're desperately trying to sell.

Help: I cant be bothered yelling WTS hundreds of times, and a auction house would save me the efford of putting an auction on guru auctions and all the wait for both of us being online at the same time after the sale is through.

My least favorite part of the game is selling the "crap" I accumulate. Sometimes, I even sell gold or purple items to the merchant even though I know, if I'm patient enough, I can sell it for more to a person. But spamming "WTS...." takes away from my real game time. I'd rather take the hit and get back to playing. An auction house would be a dream some true for me. No more time wasted going from town to town spamming. I can play the game and let someone else sell my "crap" worry free.

Side note: I'm assuming there would be some sort of fee. I wonder how much it would be?

I think somewhere along the lines of 10% or so.

you would see a sudden drop in all the colorblind GW players that can't tell All chat from trade chat

less ripoffs

more item room

more time for players to go out and play instead of standing in LA saying WTS blah blah
