How do you beat your Doppleganger?

it's soooo ez, that u can even beat the dopple as low as lvl5 without breaking a sweat.

take 2 skills, empathy and distortion, keep casting empathy when it wears off, and dodge his arrows from side to side, make sure to spam distortion constantly, u can get distortion from the skilltrainer in yaks bend.

Put as much points as you can into Domination and Fast Casting and definitely take Backfire and Empathy. Fill the rest of your skillbar with other spells, preferably things that doppy can't use to do you a lot of damage. After the cutscene, press TAB to target doppy, and cast Backfire, followed by Empathy. And just wait it out. Doppy will cast spells and shoot his bow and die very quickly without you having to do much.

Never ever ever take any interrupts, because as soon as you do the Doppleganger will rape whatever important skills you have to hell.

You're a caster, he's a caster. Because of the lower intellect of the AI you can smash him in a duel easily. Backfire, empathy, shatter hex... an interrupt to smash his backfire... etc. Domination slaughters the dopple because he will cast into your backfire, attack into empathy, etc.
