First Big Photoshop Project
Storm Crow
So, I made this (originally) for the "Show off All your Chars" thread in the SS Expo, but it looks like that's gone now, so I'll show it off here! It took me all weekend to get the pics and cut them out (pixel, by ever-loving pixel) and get them to this point, so I hope you like!
(yes, I know Garria has a white outline, I had to resize the image (it was too small) and it came out like that. so sue me.)

I tried but, it didn't work all that well, sadly. Thanks though.

nice, a great collection of all the women.
Storm Crow
Thanks!
here's a name-less version, for those who it really bugs..

Really need to smooth those lines
Try pasting the character on a blank back ground and erasing what is not necassary adjusting the eraser opacity as you get closer to the image. And make sure you save each character as a seperate photoshop image

Wow, that's a pretty nice compilation, gj.
I think the white lines around the warrior make it look better... more stand-outish. Reminds me of the Prince of Persia: Warrior Within cover :P

Use a Very Low Pressure Brush and Go Around the Edges
Something like this
Use the Gaussian Blur as a last resort.
Take your time on it

I also reccomend you save it in .png format. .jpeg format KILLS the quality, unless you save it as a .jpeg in photoshop, in which I reccomend quality 9+. The jpeg distortion makes it look unprofessional.

Wow Stormy that's a great picture! I notice you added a ritualist and assassin to your collection of ladies
I really like all the different positions they're in all bunched together in the same scenery. I don't think the white lines matter too much.

Hmm, doesn't look especially like a "photoshop"-project to me. You pretty much just cut out all the ladies and put them together in one picture, right?
I mean, it would look alot better if you'd used, like, some smart filtering effects, brushes, blending modes, stuff like that. What you've got there could be done in MS Paint, eventhough it would look alot crappier.
I'd suggest you made your own background, removed the choppiness around the characters and then blended them in.

Don't really like it, sorry No effects at all.
Try smoothing the lines, and try an outer glow that fits the proffesion (Purple for Mesmer, Green for Ranger, Orange for Warrior etc.), that always looks nice

Could be touched up a little more, but much better than I can do. Very good job.
Perhaps I could hire your services to do one for me XD

for the white outline, go to layer>matte>than pick the one that has white outline
Storm Crow
well, I didn't combine them into one image, but I did give them a boss-like aura (took forever). Here's the progress so far:
Bennah--I kinda got a weird green outline on her face...dunno how that happened =x
Cariva--outline a bit thick here..any smaller and you couldn't see it =(
Garria--she looks a bit...strange in that pose with an outline...
Daishi--turned out surprisingly well! =D
Revvarah--kinda weird with that color, but it works =P
Alicia--love this one! <3
Varda--she's still got that "What do you want?" look..heh
Wereva--this one turned out well too.

I'll give you a tip on how to get rid of 1 pixel white outline. First you need to have your char on a seperate layer. Then while holding Ctrl, Left Mouse Click the small thumbnail in your layers window (if you've done this right, your history window should say "Load Selection". This will select your character's outline. After that all you need to do is go to "Select" Menu and under "Modify" click "Contract". Type "1" and click "OK".
Next step is to go to "Select" menu again and clikc "Inverse" (or just press CTRL+SHIFT+I). After that just press "Delete" on your keyboard and you're good to go.
Hope this helps.
On other note, I thing you need to work on your image composition, right now it looks to crowded and messy.
