5 man FoW build

Ok, before I even start, I'd like to state that I have tried the search button multiple times over the past day or so...its not enabled at the moment so I am asking my question here.

With that out of the way, I am curious, what is the 5 man FoW farming/Forgemaster team is made up of? I was standing around in ToA the other night and noticed there are alot of people starting these 5 man teams, and I was able to get at least this much: The team uses a stance tank with the book trick, two monks (I am assuming a bonder and healer), and then maybe a nuker and ss necro? I'm sketchy on the nuker/necro part as I didnt actually learn that from anyone...I just assumed that was part of the team because it looks like a Sorrows Furnace gear farming team. Is it the same basic build idea? And what skills would each class/player be running? I play a warrior, so I can imagine the tank would pretty much load up on stances and maybe an interupt for the parts before the book...but I am not well versed in the ways of the other classes. I am especially interested in what people are using with warriors. I play one, but I dont do FoW often...mainly Sorrows Furnace.

Anyway, I'd appreciate some information on this. Thanks.

One team i usually go with is 1Tank (can book trick or not if know how to aggro and others how to not aggro) 1Bond (with some heal) 3barrager or 2+1SS

If book trick: tank just need some stance/doliak can even use mending.

Ok, I didnt think of barragers...thanks for enlightening me

Would mending get stripped by the Shadow Mesmers? Then again I guess the bonder enchantments would too...so you'd have to throw up a cover enchantment I suppose. I dont know enough about monks and bonding to be able to make a guess.

Anyway, so is 2 or 3 barrage rangers necessary? Or is it just more efficient compared to elementalists or ss necromancers?

Could anyone share the skill list they bring along as a monk? Is it pretty much the same as a Sorrows Furnace bonder?

So many questions, I know. I think I'll try the search button again to see if I can save everyone the trouble of spamming "use search"

Barragers is one type of group i go with, but a ragnarok/nuck group is fine, and SS-Necro fasten kills in all type of groups.

Mesmers will usually strip 1-2 enchant so it's not a big deal, and you'll usually encounter them separatly to others groups (except in forge to fasten kill where you can aggro 2M+2Mes+4"trolls") so no real trouble for the tank even without enchants.

Sorry can't help more, didn't took care enough of specfic build, but imo as long as team consist of: 1 tank knowing how to aggro +3 damage dealer knowing to stay out of aggro + 1 healer/bonder , all will be fine.

Hmmm ok thank you.

The reason I am looking for specifics is because I've tried for groups, as a stance tank. Everytime its the same old "are you pro? have you done this many times? no? ok bye!" *boot from team*

I've stanced in SF so I figured I could do it in FoW well enough, with some practice I could very well be the "pro" the look for...just need to find a team willing to let me try.

Not much pro if you do the book trick.. It's not as if it takes skill

Book weakens the group, the tank has less armor and group gets less damage...

Monk should bring Spellbreaker. A good tank is practically invulnerable as it is, with protbooner healing they can't usually die. SB will keep SS, shatter enchant, nukes etc off the tank untill they aggro. Ess bond on the tank gives the monk a good supply of energy, and so long as the tank knows FoW they can keep aggro from patrols that pop up without resorting to the librarian tendancies of most PuG tanks.

For FoW... it really doesn't matter.

1 tank (either stance tank or dolyak/watch yourself)
1 prot monk w/ ess bond (on tank)
1 SS nec
2 whatever

I've 4manned fow with the 4th slot an illu-healing mesmer using phantasm... the 3 can clear all of fow themselves, the others speed up the run. Insight barragers are excellent, 2 SS necs with very good co-ordination (don't ss same things, etc) can demolish the foes, so long as tank takes aggro properly.
